There are some requirements to install DualNET ?

  System

IBM Compatible Computer  - Pentium MMX or Higher.

  Slots

   PCI or ISA.

  HDD

Two HDDs (For internal and external network)

  UTP Cable

Two UTP cable (For internal and external network)

  Bay

   Single 5.25" drive bay.

  OS

Win 95/98, Windows NT - Single or Dual operating system.

  PC Bios

   Automatic HDD Recognition feature support.

  Software

   DualNET driver.

Does it require an additional HDD ?

Yes, DualNET uses two HDDs separated physically. So you need one additional HDD for external

  network storage.

Should I have two UTP cables between users and Hubs (internal and external) ?

Yes, you should have two UTP cables to use the internal and external network. There are 3 UTP

ports (or 2 UTP & RJ11) on DualNET, one for internal, another for external, the other for the

  connection with LAN card.

How can I switch the network and HDD with DualNET?

DualNET supports Key-Switching system. If you just turn the key, DualNET sends a signal to

reboot your system and convert your network and HDD at the same time.

How can you protect your computer from hackers ?

Two HDDs are separated physically. it means that you can not share the data between two HDDs.

And if you are one internal network, only the HDD for internal network is active. Hence, any

remote users can not access your internal HDD and network from outside.

Thank to this physical HDD and network separation, you can secure your internal network and

HDD from any virus infection from the internet, let alone any intrusion by hackers.

Should I reboot my computer whenever I try to convert the network and HDD into

    another ?

Yes, if you do not reboot your system, the information still remains on the flesh memory. It is

required to secure the information existing on memory to some organizations. To remove the

information on memory, you must reboot your system. Thus DualNET always require the system

reboot whenever you try to convert your network and HDDs.

If I use physically separated HDDs, is it possible to operate two OS in the

    different language ?

Yes, you can operate two OS in the different language. For instance, you can use Win95 in

chinese for internal HDD, Win98 in English for external HDD.

Which type of interface is supported ?

DualNET supports PCI and ISA interface.
